Is your dog ready for Fall?

Any size dog can get cold in the winter time, depending on their build and other characteristics. Being ready to help them cope can make the season much more enjoyable.

Fall is in the air

Fall is in the air here in Wyoming. We still have hot days, but you can feel that it's just a little cooler first thing in the morning.  And there are golden yellow leaves where there used to be just green a couple of weeks ago.  It's still summer, of course.  But you can tell that Fall is just around the corner.

Whether you're feeling the approach of Fall or not, it's surely on its way.  And with it, the cooler temperatures that lead into Winter.

Your dog will feel the cooler, wetter weather too.

Your dog isn’t going to stay indoors just because it’s wintertime. A well fitted dog coat with the right combination of features can make all the difference.

Your dog will feel the changes in the air, too. Are you and your dog ready?  If your dog needs a coat, now is the time to take stock and get ready for the coming weather.

If your dog is

-  small

-  smooth-coated

-  elderly

-  young

-  lean or underweight

-  otherwise shows signs of being cold (shivering, curling into a ball, avoiding going out)

they most likely would appreciate a coat to keep them warm.  Find out more about how a dog coat can help your dog here.

A dog coat that allows your dog to be a dog while also staying warm can be a lifesaver.

Be ready to enjoy the Fall together

It takes time to get things in order. If your dog needs a raincoat, waterproof dog coat, or warm winter coat, take a look at Made by De. I make each coat custom.  The fit is the best available, but it does take a little time.

Having the right coats and other clothing can have you and your dog having fun all winter long.
